Meet Makenzie Bowman

Associate Designer

Makenzie Bowman brings a thoughtful, human-centered perspective to her work at Revkah Design. A Carmel native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Indiana University Bloomington’s Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Her education cultivated both creative and analytical strengths, shaping her belief that exceptional design begins with understanding how people truly live and how a home can intentionally enhance that life.

Growing up around luxury residential construction fostered Makenzie’s early appreciation for craftsmanship, detail, and the collaborative nature of building a home. Whether contributing to fully custom builds, tailored renovations, or thoughtfully executed semi-custom projects, she values the opportunity to integrate each client’s lifestyle into the fabric of the home. Her approach is grounded in problem-solving and adaptability, anticipating both practical needs and nuanced lifestyle considerations that allow a home to function seamlessly.

Makenzie is particularly passionate about visualization and client communication. Recognizing that not every client can easily envision a finished space, she utilizes tools such as SketchUp and Revit to create detailed renderings that bring ideas to life and provide clarity throughout the design process. Her ability to translate concepts into tangible visuals fosters confidence and alignment from initial vision through execution.

She gravitates toward cohesive, free-flowing spaces layered with warm neutrals, natural materials, and intentional contrast. By considering how each space is experienced throughout the day, she curates environments that support connection, encourage restoration, and allow life to move with greater ease. Through collaboration and intentional design, she helps clients create homes that feel cohesive, personal, and effortless to live in.
