Meet Madeleine Cummins

Senior Designer

Madeleine serves as the Senior Designer at Revkah Design, bringing a dynamic blend of artistic talent and professional experience to every project she leads. She earned her degree in Interior Design from Ball State University and further refined her skills through internships with Polish Interiors and Art Design and Newfields, where she developed a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for thoughtful design.

Creativity has been a constant in Madeleine’s life. Growing up surrounded by art due to her mother’s influence and profession, she developed an early appreciation for color, composition, and expression. She constantly repainted her bedroom walls, rearranged furniture, and reimagined her space—instinctively experimenting with layout, balance, and mood long before she formally studied design. That early exposure shaped her artistic instincts and continues to inform her intuitive approach today.

Her aesthetic is a distinctive fusion of mid-century modern, transitional, organic modern, and contemporary styles, allowing her to create spaces that feel both timeless and tailored. Madeleine believes strongly in foundational design principles such as emphasis, balance, and contrast, using them intentionally to craft harmonious, visually compelling environments.

Personalization is at the heart of Madeleine’s process. She takes time to understand each client’s vision, lifestyle, and functional needs to ensure every space is as practical as it is beautiful. She places significant importance on the research phase, carefully evaluating how clients will live and interact within their spaces. Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, Madeleine meticulously documents decisions, communicates clearly and consistently, and always respects her clients’ time throughout the design journey. Her favorite phase of any project is seeing everything come to life—watching a carefully developed concept transform into a beautifully realized space.
