Nestled on 8 acres near Geist Reservoir in Fishers, Indiana, this 18,000-square-foot private residence is a true marvel of architectural innovation. Working alongside Carl McIntyre of Carrington Homes and Emily Handke Design, we’ve created a home that boasts modern aesthetics while taking a queue from its natural surroundings.

Q: What was your biggest design challenge in creating a cohesive luxury experience across 18,000 square feet?
A: The greatest challenge was maintaining visual cohesion and intentionality at scale. In a home of this magnitude, it’s easy for rooms to feel disconnected or overly thematic. Our goal was to create a unified narrative of luxury—one that flowed seamlessly from space to space without becoming redundant while at the same time, showcasing the client’s personality and preferences.
Q: How did you balance showcasing cutting-edge 2025 design trends with creating spaces that feel timeless and livable for a real family?
A: We’re always forward-looking, but trends must serve the longevity and livability of a space—or they’re simply noise. We chose sustainable luxury materials, and advanced lighting technology in ways that support both aesthetics and function. We focused on clean minimalism to provide longevity—a home that a family can grow into, not grow out of. That meant selecting enduring materials like natural stone and white oak. The interior was designed to be both elevated and usable. Funk and innovation is there, but it’s embedded with restraint and purpose.
Q: What is your favorite part of the Dream Home or what is one thing you want to point out to guests as they tour the home themselves this August?
A: I loved the blurred line between the exterior architecture and interior design by pulling select exterior materials into the interior palette to create a seamless and intentional transition. I also love that the home is undeniably opulent, with layered details and elevated finishes, yet it never feels untouchable. It’s unique, expressive, and luxurious—but still grounded in warmth and approachability.
